Dr. Sarah Lindhurst

Dr. Sarah Lindhurst has been a part of our Hartrick Veterinary Clinic family as an associate veterinarian since August 2019. She began her journey and love for the veterinary field at the age of 12, starting as a kennel assistant. She quickly gained experience with general practice and emergency medicine as a veterinary technician for many years. Although she is a Michigan native, Dr. Lindhurst obtained her doctorate at Iowa State University and graduated in 2012. While at Iowa State, she received an award for outstanding performance in emergency medicine and critical care from the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and emergency medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Lindhurst enjoys playing slow pitch softball, bowling, and attending sporting events and concerts with her husband, Brad. She has a background in showing dogs and has extensive knowledge of the Setter breeds. Dr. Lindhurst currently has three dogs in her family: a rescued mix breed dog named Chauncey, an Irish Setter named Lexi, and an Irish Red and White Setter named Chase.
